TabCopier Privacy Policy

Last Updated: January 24, 2026

1. Introduction This Privacy Policy describes the privacy practices for the “Quick Tab Export” Chrome extension (the “Extension”). We are committed to protecting user privacy and ensuring that your data remains under your control.

2. Data Collection and Usage The Extension does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data or browsing activity. All processing of tab URLs and titles occurs locally on your device within the browser’s temporary memory.

  • Tabs Permission: The Extension requests the “tabs” permission solely to read the URLs and titles of your currently open tabs so that you can filter and copy them to your clipboard.
  • No Server Communication: The Extension does not communicate with any external servers. No data is ever sent to the developer or any third party.

3. Data Storage The Extension does not use any persistent storage. The URLs you copy are held in the browser’s memory only as long as the Extension popup is open and are then transferred to your system clipboard. We do not maintain a history of your copied links.

4. Third-Party Sharing We do not share, sell, or trade any user information with third parties. Since no data is collected, there is no data available to be shared.

5. Changes to This Policy We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the Extension’s functionality or legal requirements. Any updates will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date.
